A tech nerd who speaks human.
My speciality is translating between business, product and engineering: what is genuinely possible, what is actually needed this quarter, and the shortest defensible line between the two.
Spoke at a House of Commons select committee showcase, briefing MPs on AI and democracy.
Reduction in audience modelling time for Fortune 500 brands at Mindshare.
Quoted as an expert from CIO.com to the Daily Express, Startups Magazine and regional titles.

What I actually do

Pick the use-cases worth doing, sequence them, and take the risk out before the spend. I built the Data Journey Framework for exactly this: organisation-wide adoption without the theatre.
“Simon's expertise in AI and Data technology makes him an ideal partner for any company looking to integrate these new technologies into their business practices.”
Example builds
All four write-ups →Agentic retrieval over millions of documents, UK-wide geospatial models, four versions and a global launch in under a year.
Explore →Neon RoutesAI-native lead generation: generative creative, self-closing experiments, compliance and analytics in one system. Brief to live in two weeks.
Explore →Auth TemplateThe boring backbone (auth, admin, notifications, profiles) hardened once and reused. A client's first product launched six weeks from a standing start.
Explore →Deck BuilderMCP-driven deck generation on a fixed JSON slide schema. Two or three days of slide building becomes under ten minutes.
Explore →The art of the possible, against the needs of the day
I stay close enough to the code to be useful and close enough to the board to be understood. That means the recommendation you get is one the engineers can build this quarter and the finance director can sign off. It will not always be the newest technology, and it will not always be the safest route.
“What I value really highly is the honesty and insight that Simon brings. Actively listening to what I asked for, and explaining, clearly, why part of it would or wouldn't work and - most importantly - what to do instead. The collaborative process meant that the work we produced together stood up and impressed everyone who saw it. I'd much rather work with people who tell me the awkward thing early - and constructively.”

I work with organisations I know my skillset can help. If I can’t, I will say so, and I probably know someone in my network who can. I won’t waste your time.
